Yes, but we will charge a plug-in charge of £100+VAT if you none of the lighting packages are hired. Our packages include electricity.

If you want to rotate and angle the panel lights but leave the clamps in the same place, that’s fine. However, if you want to start adding or removing lights from the grid, we like to talk about this ahead of time. More often than not, it’s fine, but let’s chat.

When you arrive, we give you a quick demo of the ‘Sidus’ App installed on an iPad Pro. It’s very intuitive, so if you haven’t used it before, don’t worry. It is available as a free download on the ‘App Store’ if you want to get used to the UI ahead of time.

The only thing we don’t have involvement with is the content of your film. If you want a Director for your project, we can source one for an additional fee.

On the day, we will give you a time that your talent can start arriving from and you take it from there.

Book the Look is a complete production service where we put the right people that we trust on the job for you. As part of this, we guarantee the look you are going receive, so unfortunately we cannot accept crew suggestions.

If the role is a support position outside of the camera department, such as a runner or your own hair stylist, this is fine.

If you want to shoot with your own crew, we do rent the studio out as a dry hire. Please select Studios at the top of this page for pricing.

Nope, we can film at any location you want. However these looks are what we know are achievable in our Studio.

But by all means, use these looks to describe to us the feel what you are looking for.

Absolutely. If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, let us know ahead of time and we will work on a solution. The best way forward would be to choose the nearest look from the 64 and start building on that.

We work with a local Prop house, so if you want to make more of a scene, we know who can help!

Absolutely. The only limiting factor is time. Depending on which looks you’d like to move between, it could be a simple job or more complicated. Ranging anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. Discuss with us a head of time to come up with a good plan.

Of course. It would be a good idea to discuss this with us ahead of time as more lighting might be needed to be hired.

You can comfortably fit 3 contributors in an interview set up or up to 5 in a panel discussion.

Well, it wouldn’t be membership if there wasn’t an element of cost involved. This membership is designed to give its members opportunities to up-skill and access to a local film making community.

We’ve kept the fee incredibly low as to keep the barriers to entry accessible to all. For May, June and July 2023 - there are no costs to sign up.

No, when you sign up to membership with the studio you get much more than just being considered first for projects. If you wish to pay for work there are platforms, agency’s and diary services that offer that.

The key word in our benefit list here is first. We will naturally check our list of members first before going to the wider freelance market.

If we don’t have the skills our client is looking for, we will also search beyond our membership list.

Being part of the membership simply narrows down who is interested in working with us, where they are and what skills they can offer.
